Steven Blye is a tenacious legal advocate with over 40 years of legal experience fighting on behalf of his clients. He is an experienced litigator in the legal fields of California workers’ compensation and personal injury civil cases.
Mr. Blye is proud to be part of the social justice labor movement representing injured workers. His decades of litigation experience include fighting for the benefits his clients deserve against large insurance carriers. He is a member of the premier legal advocacy organization for attorneys representing injured workers, the California Applicants’ Attorneys Association (“CAAA”), as well as the CAAA Los Angeles chapter, the Southern California Applicants’ Attorneys Association (“SCAAA”).
As a lifelong resident of California and litigator, Mr. Blye is very familiar with all aspects of handling a California workers’ compensation case. This includes formulating a litigation strategy, going to trial at the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board (“WCAB”) to obtain workers’ compensation benefits, as well as negotiating a settlement in complex cases where a worker has suffered catastrophic injury.
Mr. Blye graduated in 1982 from Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles, California with a Juris Doctor degree. In 1979, he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Law & Society from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
