Robert Cordova focuses his legal practice in the field of workers’ compensation and has experience with all phases of workers’ compensation litigation. He is a dedicated advocate for workers’ rights and is committed to guiding injured and disabled workers through the workers’ compensation system. Mr. Cordova’s legal experience has made him well versed in all stages of case management, including (but not limited to) conducting legal research, depositions, preparation of pleadings, and settlement negotiations. He is fluent in Spanish and works with much Spanish speaking clientele.
Mr. Cordova is a member of California’s foremost injured worker advocacy organization, California Applicants’ Attorneys Association (CAAA). He is also a member of CAAA’s regional chapter, the Southern California Applicants’ Attorneys Association (SCAAA). He previously was a member of the Mexican American Bar Association and Beverly Hills Bar Association.
Mr. Cordova obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Law from California State University, Northridge. He then obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of West Los Angeles. While in law school, Mr. Cordova received the Witkin Award for Ethical Lawyering. He also clerked with the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office and participated in several high profile cases.
Prior to joining the law firm, Mr. Cordova represented clients in employment litigation matters and personal injury cases.
