Cody Launder is proud to join Ford & Wallach as an outstanding advocate for injured workers. With an emphasis on outreach to historically underrepresented and underserved communities, Mr. Launder is dedicated to helping injured workers. Mr. Launder brings longtime experience in the fields of workers’ compensation and Social Security Disability law. Over the course of his legal career, Mr. Launder obtained medical and financial benefits for thousands of workers and their families. He now exclusively focuses on fighting for workers in the California workers’ compensation system. In order to achieve the best results for his clients, Mr. Launder combines empathy with tenacious legal representation to guide injured workers smoothly through the workers’ compensation process.

As a strong champion for injured workers, Mr. Launder is very active in the labor movement. He is a regular participant in the Los Angeles Trade-Technical College (“LATTC”) Labor Studies Program providing updates to union activists for workers’ compensation benefits. He frequently attends labor events standing in solidarity with all workers in the fight for social justice. Mr. Launder is committed to advancing workplace safety and education of workers’ rights as a member of California’s foremost injured worker advocacy organization, the California Applicants’ Attorneys Association (“CAAA”), and regional organization, the Southern California Applicants’ Attorneys Association (“SCAAA”).

Mr. Launder earned a Juris Doctor degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law. During law school, Mr. Launder was a certified legal intern at the Milton A. Kramer Law Clinic, where he was honored as the first student to argue before the Eighth Appellate District Court of Ohio. Mr. Launder upholds the highest levels of legal ethics as a member in good standing of both the State Bar of California and State Bar of Ohio.

Mr. Launder obtained an undergraduate degree in psychology with a minor in law and society from Kenyon College. In his spare time, Mr. Launder enjoys volunteering, hiking, swimming, and spending time with his family.
